Experience KAZI GHIYASUDDIN↗Art Studio and Residence through ARTCON's immersive 3D virtual tour and step inside the final creative environment of one of Bangladesh's foremost abstractionists. Created in November 2024, this documentary virtual tour preserves the artist's permanent residence-studio in Savar, Dhaka, just months before the building was demolished in January 2025. Designed by architect BKS Inan during the 1990s, the two-storey residence served as Kazi Ghiyasuddin's home and principal studio for decades. Today, this virtual experience stands as the last complete digital documentation of the original residence-studio before construction began on the future Kazi Ghiyasuddin Museum↗, a joint initiative of Neoformation Architects and DW–Dehsar Works, expected to open in December 2026.

Explore the residence-studio through an interactive 360° walkthrough across multiple interior spaces that reveal the artist's creative and personal world. The tour documents the remarkable double-height painting studio illuminated by natural skylight, alongside living areas, bedrooms, veranda, library, personal archive, and the expansive green lawn surrounding the house. Visitors encounter finished paintings, monumental works in progress, sketchbooks, canvases, easels, colour studies, pigments, brushes, palette knives, framed artworks, reference photographs, books, and personal collections, offering an intimate portrait of the environment in which the artist's abstract vision evolved. The studio also reveals the complete creative process—from drawing and compositional studies to priming canvases, colour mixing, layering paint, drying works, framing, exhibition preparation, and the systematic documentation of an extraordinary artistic career.

More than a residence, KAZI GHIYASUDDIN Art Studio and Residence was the centre of the artist's practice throughout the later decades of his career, where paintings prepared for major exhibitions in Bangladesh and abroad were conceived, developed, and completed. As the original building no longer exists, this virtual tour preserves not only an architectural space but also the atmosphere, rhythm, and working environment of one of Bangladesh's most influential modern painters. It documents a place where art, scholarship, and everyday life coexisted, capturing a significant chapter in the country's visual heritage before its transformation into a future museum dedicated to the artist's legacy.
