Our Virtual Reality

Experience STUDIO III through ARTCON's immersive 3D virtual tour and step inside the first studio of Bangladeshi sculptor Anisuzzaman Faroque↗. Located in Hazaribagh, Old Dhaka, within the city's historic industrial tannery district, this private working studio and sculpture workshop preserves the environment where the artist's early sculptural language was formed and refined.

Explore the studio through a 360° walkthrough, discovering finished sculptures alongside works in progress, moulds and casts, raw materials, tools, machinery, and large-scale sculptural projects. The tour offers a close view of the artist's creative process, revealing the stages of modelling, welding, casting, carving, finishing, and installation preparation. A personal archive, display area, and open workshop further document the evolution of Faroque's practice within an authentic working environment.

More than a workspace, STUDIO III is a place of artistic beginnings. It was here that Faroque developed many of the ideas that later culminated in GENTLE GRASS↗, his first solo exhibition at Alliance Française de Dhaka, organised by ARTCON in August 2022. Although the artist has since moved to a new studio, this space remains an important record of his formative years and creative development.

Created as a documentary archive for public access and artist promotion, this virtual tour preserves a significant chapter in the artist's career, allowing visitors, researchers, students, and collectors worldwide to experience the space where Anisuzzaman Faroque's artistic journey first took shape, accessible anytime on desktop, mobile, and VR headsets.
