Our Virtual Reality

Experience IT'S A PANIC OR TRUTH. COME & SAY GOODBYE↗ through ARTCON's immersive 3D virtual tour. Presented at studio Z space, Hazaribagh, Dhaka, from 2–16 September 2022, this open studio exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Murshed Jahangir↗ transformed the artist's working environment into an experimental exhibition space. Rather than separating the artwork from its place of creation, the exhibition invited visitors into the studio itself, offering an intimate encounter with an evolving body of work and the processes behind it.

Explore the exhibition through an interactive 360° walkthrough and discover paintings, installations, drawings, objects, research materials, and works in progress presented throughout the artist's studio. The exhibition formed part of Jahangir's ongoing research project SHIFT AS A VERB, which investigates displacement, migration, transformation, and the shifting conditions of people, land, memory, belief, and identity within contemporary socio-economic and political realities. Through an interdisciplinary practice that combines visual art, installation, text, and conceptual inquiry, the artist poses urgent questions about how individuals, communities, and environments are continuously reshaped by forces beyond their control.

Unlike a conventional gallery exhibition, IT'S A PANIC OR TRUTH. COME & SAY GOODBYE embraced the studio as a site of experimentation, dialogue, and critical reflection, allowing visitors to experience artworks within the environment where they were conceived and developed. Produced by ARTCON as a documentary archive, the virtual tour preserves both the exhibition and the unique atmosphere of Studio Z Space, extending public access beyond its physical setting. Accessible on desktop, mobile, and VR headsets, the experience enables researchers, students, artists, and audiences worldwide to explore a significant moment in Murshed Jahangir's interdisciplinary practice.
