Experience Layouts in Letters (বর্ণে ব্যঞ্জনা)↗ through ARTCON's immersive 3D virtual tour. Presented at La Galerie and Zoom Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka, from 11–22 February 2022, the exhibition marked the 18th solo exhibition by Arham ul Huq Chowdhury↗. Organised to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Language Movement and International Mother Language Day, the exhibition celebrated the beauty, history, and expressive potential of the Bangla language through contemporary calligraphy.

Explore the exhibition through an interactive 360° walkthrough and discover 70 Bangla calligraphy artworks, each created as a visual interpretation of traditional Bangla idioms and proverbs. Drawing upon years of research into the linguistic and cultural heritage of Bengal, Arham transforms familiar expressions into evocative compositions where typography, illustration, and symbolism merge into a distinctive visual language. Working in watercolour and acrylic, the artist celebrates not only the aesthetic qualities of Bangla letterforms but also the enduring wisdom, humour, and collective memory embedded within the language.

A pioneer of Bangla calligraphy, Arham ul Huq Chowdhury presented Bangladesh's first solo exhibition dedicated to Bangla calligraphy in 2000. Layouts in Letters continues his long-standing exploration of heritage, mythology, nature, and cultural identity, reaffirming the expressive possibilities of Bangla script as a contemporary art form. Produced by ARTCON as a documentary archive, the virtual tour preserves the exhibition's curatorial narrative and gallery experience, allowing visitors, researchers, students, designers, and art enthusiasts worldwide to explore the exhibition on desktop, mobile, and VR headsets.
