Our Virtual Reality

Experience CHOBIMELA SHUNNO [ শূন্য ]↗ through ARTCON's immersive 3D virtual tour, created as the Official Virtual Exhibition Partner of the festival. Presented at DrikPath Bhobon, Panthapath, Dhaka, the 2021 edition digitally preserved the complete special edition of Asia's pioneering international photography festival, allowing audiences worldwide to explore every exhibition space exactly as it appeared during the physical event.

Navigate the festival through an interactive 360° walkthrough of the entire DrikPath Bhobon, where galleries, library, classrooms, staircases, rooftop spaces, and multimedia environments were transformed into a dynamic exhibition landscape. The tour faithfully recreates every curated section of the festival, featuring photography, moving image, mixed media, archival documents, installations, performances, and multidisciplinary works by 75 artists and collectives from Bangladesh and across South Asia.

Conceived around the theme Shunno (Zero), the festival questioned the role of art in a world transformed by the COVID-19 pandemic, exploring community, solidarity, memory, critical citizenship, and the relationship between physical and digital space. Rather than functioning solely as a virtual exhibition, ARTCON reconstructed the complete architectural and curatorial experience, enabling visitors to move seamlessly through the festival exactly as they would on site.

Created by ARTCON as the Official Virtual Exhibition Partner and preserved as a documentary archive, this virtual tour records a landmark moment in the history of Chobi Mela. Accessible on desktop, mobile, and VR headsets, it continues to connect artists, researchers, students, and audiences worldwide with one of Asia's most influential photography festivals.
