Experience BASEER: An Eloquent Mind↗ through ARTCON’s immersive 3D virtual tour at Bengal Shilpalay. Developed in 2020 for Bengal Foundation, the virtual exhibition tour documents one of the most comprehensive retrospectives dedicated to Murtaja Baseer↗ (1932–2020), one of Bangladesh’s most influential modern artists, whose remarkable career spanned nearly seven decades.

Explore the exhibition through an interactive 360° walkthrough and discover an extraordinary collection of paintings, drawings, prints, archival materials, photographs, letters, sketches, collages, posters, and personal research documents. Bringing together works from private and institutional collections, including many exhibited publicly for the first time, the exhibition traces Baseer’s artistic evolution from figurative compositions and portraits to his distinctive language of abstract realism, while revealing the breadth of his intellectual and creative practice.

Produced by ARTCON as a documentary archive, the virtual tour preserves the exhibition’s curatorial narrative and gallery experience, making this landmark retrospective accessible beyond its physical setting.
